The origin of Las Olas Beauty started 11 years ago when Elaine Ochtera (owner) had a vision of fusing three beauty services under one establishment. Providing a single resource for potential customers to seek spa treatments, salon services, and beauty products seemed like a logical and needed offering in today's busy lifestyle. Plus with Elaine's vast experience as a stylist, makeup artist, and regional sales manager, she was equipped to take on this endeavor.

In parallel with Elaine's aspirations, her daughter, Michelle, had ambitions to open a trendy clothing boutique. She had studied at the Fashion Institute and worked in retail at high-end clothing stores. Michelle wanted to discover top fashion and styles from leading trend-setters and designers, and be able to showcase them in the south Florida area.

Adding yet another level to the original idea seemed to complete the concept of what Las Olas Beauty is today. A one-stop resource for all of your beauty needs.

Years later, John Ochtera (Michelle's father) left his career as CEO for a number of public companies to assist Elaine and Michelle in the business and financial mechanics of the company. Las Olas Beauty offically became a true family inspired and operated business.
